macros

a note from me

👋 hi, i’m parker, and you’re on my macro tracking app. tbh i made this to be my own dream macros app, but you’re welcome to use it too! if you do use it, i’d encourage you to turn your public profile on in your settings. mine is here: parker’s macros

i’ve found that public accountability has had a huge impact on my motivation to track all of my food and actually stick to my targets. it won’t actually show your targets or your food logged, only what percentage you’ve met/missed each goal.

this may not be what works for you, and there are a lot of macro tracking apps out there, so that’s ok!

what’s missing right now that you might see in other apps

since this is designed to be connected to your own ai agent, you can technically do all of that, but the interface is less deterministic. for example, if i want to save a frequent food, i might just ask the agent to save it to memory. if i want to scan a nutritional label, i would just send a photo of it to the agent.

typically my prompts look something like this:

log 12 grilled chickfila nuggets, a tablespoon of ketchup, and a homemade chocolate chip cookie

since i don’t have to look everything up myself, i just lean on my agent to do the web searches and reasoning to determine macros. it is pretty good at finding branded food like from restaurants, but also i can start a dialogue if something looks off. that’s the part that makes having it as an mcp work really well for me.

anyways, thanks for reading all of this! if you have any issues, questions, feedback, or whatever, please let me know!
